Muloor Smarakam or Muloor
Memorial has located close to 12 km from Pathanamthitta.It is the monument to
Muloor S.Padmanabha Panicker who lived on 1869-1931.He was a well-known social
reformer and poet.The Muloor Smarakam was originally the home of Padmanabha
Panicker. subsequently it was regenerate as a memorial with the initiative of
Department of Culture of the Kerala State Government. A typical ordinary Kerala
house, the Muloor Smarakam has seen by numerous people from whole parts of the
existence.Historiographers are attracted to the Muloor Smarakam because of the
historical importance.And also literary enthusiasts and authors oftenly came to
this place because it is the memorial of a poet, and the tourists coming here
due to the sheer natural beauty of the environs.
