                          Triveni Sangamam rests on the way to Sabrimala. The devotees halt in this place while going to Sabarimalai.In this place devotees to take a holy dip in it for redemption. Therefore, it can be termed as the important halting place devotees who travel to sabarimala.
                        Triveni Sangamam implies the meeting point of three rivers. This is the position where the Holy Pamba river confluence with the Manimala River in its north and the Achankovil River in the south.
                      The Pamba River is also called as Dakshina Ganga or the Ganges of South India. Triveni Sangamam has visited by millions of devotees on their way to Sabrimala.River Pamba, which starts in the Western Ghats that is the third longest river in South India. Pamba is the essential halting point on the way to Sabarimala.This pilgrimage spot makes visitors too who come here to enjoy the glorious landscape of the place. Near to this holy river the King Rajasekara gained a vision of Lord Ayyappa. Considered as sacred as the river Ganges, the water in the Pamba river is said to purify one from curse and evils. So it is considered auspicious for all pilgrims to have a dip in the river before and after trekking the Sabarimala
